The summer of 2018 happens to be the year of the touch screen for the bowlers.
Our award winning “NO PLASTIC” pedestal with a commercial grade touch screen is a big hit this year with orders coming in faster than we can produce them. Special orders from our customers asked to have their custom logo laser cut into the front plate, just one more of those "little" things we do for our customers. With the space saving configuration controlling two lanes with one touch screen, saving some precious space in the bowler’s area, along with less cost for your budget.

With so many new Solid State Drive (SSD) hardware devices to select from, Steltronic has elected to use the SSD that mounts directly onto the motherboard. There are no cables running to and from the new SSD, again making the Steltronic lane computer much more reliable and super-fast, we see it almost like light-speed.
Cooler, faster, and only 1/4 inch thick means no moving parts to fail with this SSD.Along with the new SSD, true HD video is embedded into the computer motherboard eliminating the need for an external video card, another item to keep out the heat because heat is a big deal for any computer system.

History Matters
Steltronic was established in 1980 and the first generation of our software was simple cash control for bowling centers and bill validation. With that technology, if Steltronic can verify the authenticity of government printed money notes, taking that technology further and counting bowling pins is how it all started. Moving through time into 1985, Steltronic started with it's first version of DOS scoring systems, which is still supported today because Steltronic to this day has never sent out the infamous "end-of-life" and discontinued letters to any of our customer base. With Microsoft creating Windows 95, Steltronic again makes history with the very first scoring system to run 100% on the Windows 95 platform computers. We're the company with essential "open source" technology.
