Steltronic was established in 1980 and the first generation of our software was simple cash control for bowling centers and bill validation. With that technology, if Steltronic can verify the authenticity of government printed money notes, taking that technology further and counting bowling pins is how it all started.
Moving through time into 1985, Steltronic started with it's first version of DOS scoring systems, which is still supported today because Steltronic to this day has never sent out the infamous "end-of-life" and discontinued letters to any of our customer base.
With Microsoft creating Windows 95, Steltronic again makes history with the very first scoring system to run 100% on the Windows 95 platform computers.
Advancing into 2009, Steltronic was the first company to provide a commercial scoring system to the USBC for the PBA tournament in Las Vegas, the WTBA, and many years of Women's Championship tournaments.
Current day technology has kept Steltronic in the bowling business for 38 years strong, and with more than 95 modules in our current scoring system to manage everything from lanes, laser tag, pool tables, POS, mobile tablets, bookings, birthday parties, the list goes on and on.
Interfaced today with more than 37 different pinsetters worldwide and 15 integrations of third party companies to enhance your scoring system is what Steltronic is all about. We're the company with essential "open source" technology.
