Steltronic Video Matrix Extender Hardware

Steltronic Video Matrix Extender Hardware

In situations where flat screen HDMI monitors are situated at considerable distances from the Steltronic Vision Lane Computer (VLC), traditional HDMI cables may pose challenges, especially when exceeding 15 feet. For installations where monitors are up to 300 feet away, the innovative Steltronic VME hardware offers a comprehensive solution. This new hardware neatly addresses the issue by efficiently transmitting the HDMI signal over long distances, all neatly packaged within a single hardware box. This ensures optimal performance and convenience for setups with extended monitor-to-computer distances.

The new Steltronic Video Matrix Extender (VME) has the ability to drive up to 4 HDMI flat screen monitors up to 300 feet away.

For bowling centers equipped with overhead monitors or lower touch screen displays, Steltronic is introducing an innovative solution – the “Video Matrix Extender” hardware box. This advanced device features two HDMI inputs, dedicated to the odd and even lanes. The internal hardware seamlessly converts the HDMI signals into CAT6 cable connections, streamlining the installation process. This allows for the convenient routing of CAT6 cables through ceilings and/or underground to connect effortlessly with the touch screens in the bowlers’ area. The Video Matrix Extender enhances both the flexibility and simplicity of your bowling center’s display setup.

Installation is a breeze with the Steltronic VME hardware. Simply connect one external power supply to the VME hardware box, utilize HDMI cables from the Vision Lane Computer (Odd and Even lanes) for input, and run CAT6 cables from the outputs to the flat screen overhead monitors in the bowler’s area, as well as the touch screen bowler consoles if equipped.

Each monitor requires a “Receiver” for the CAT6 cable to be converted, allowing the use of an HDMI cable for seamless connection.

Thanks to the new Steltronic VME hardware, troubleshooting the “No Signal Found” issue on monitors is simplified to a straightforward box replacement/exchange through the Steltronic parts exchange program.
